Peace loving, but pessimistic. Sometimes melancholic.
Always amazed by the sublimity of the universe and its tiny residents.
I´m a German/Spanish multisiciplinary artist and BSc Psychologist on the autism spectrum, born 1983 in Cologne (Germany), currently living in London.
My art - graphics, mixed media, prints, objet trouvé, videos, electronic music, etc. - focusses on the dark side of humanity and my own inner demons. I am very interested in nature and science (especially space travel, microorganisms and social science) and sickened by the cruelty of human history and our (self-)destructive way of dealing with the environment, animals and fellow human beings.
But I am nevertheless still amazed by the beauty of the universe and it´s tiny residents.
The work of Käthe Kollwitz that I was allowed to experience during a school trip to the Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Cologne at the age of 12 have initiated my decision to become an artist and shaped my work sustainably.
As a living and in line with my personal values - that art and education are essential to human well-being - I do art projects for socio-economically disadvantaged children and refugees.
Currently I´m finishing my Master of Science Degree in Psychology, trying to learn new art techniques to expand my repertoire of expressive possibilities and hoping to finally finish my poetry book after several years of overwriting and overthinking it.
